Wendy’s interest in autism intervention was sparked in 2006. During this time Wendy attended a workshop on Relationship Development Intervention led by Dr. Steven Gutstein. Wendy was so impressed with Dr. Gutstein’s developmentally based, parent guiding program that she immediately took the steps needed to obtain certification as an RDI Certified Consultant.
Wendy continues to be an ardent supporter of RDI theory and practice, and she is passionate about educating parents about RDI and its benefits. Wendy is currently part of the Dynamic Intelligence Workgroup and works closely with Dr. Gutstein, founder of RDI.
Wendy invites any parent who wants to learn more about the new research that is being done in the field of Autism, and gain knowledge that will enable them to support the development of crucial mental skills in their child diagnosed with Autism, to explore RDI – a highly effective and research based intervention.
